The Impact Report is a visually-driven annual report designed to communicate Optiv’s business outcomes, thought leadership, and organizational impact. This report serves as a key communication tool for clients, partners, and stakeholders, showcasing Optiv’s expertise, strategic initiatives, and measurable results. By presenting information in a visually compelling and accessible way, it strengthens brand credibility, supports thought leadership, and highlights Optiv’s value in the cybersecurity industry.
The creative strategy for the Impact Report focused on Optiv’s people and community, highlighting how everyday actions across the organization reflect its core values. Using established brand colors and iconography, I built a visual story that flows from the cover through the interior, with gradients reinforcing how those values show up across Optiv’s three key focus areas: securing and protecting, talent and opportunity, and community outreach.
Strategy & Impact
A key part of the strategy was evolving the mosaic concept from previous brand campaigns into something more narrative-driven for this report. I curated imagery from across the organization and rebuilt the mosaic into Optiv’s “O,” symbolizing how individual contributions come together to create meaningful impact. The value-based gradients continue through the mark, while core values icons are woven throughout the layouts as a subtle but consistent reminder that these principles are embedded in Optiv’s everyday work.
The photography intentionally spans the last decade as a nod to Optiv’s 10th anniversary, connecting past milestones to present-day impact. Together, these elements create a cohesive, people-centered design that feels authentic, celebratory, and clearly rooted in Optiv’s values without losing clarity or structure.
